If you knew your competitor had already started practicing these new techniques, and their customers and employees were delighted by it, would you consider investing in it?

Research shows that 58% of your performance on the job is due to Emotional Intelligence. It usually is more critical than your IQ. Isn’t it time that you devoted some time to knowing better what you should be doing better?

This workshop introduces the participant to what Emotional Intelligence is and using either a self-assessment or a 360 degree assessment their scores in each of the four quadrants:

1)  Self-awareness

2)  self-management

3)  social awareness

4)  relationship management

It uses movie clips to portray the concepts and provide a visual example of the types of behaviors influenced in each area. Activities are debriefed and discussed with the entire class or in small groups. Participants gain insight into their current abilities related to emotional intelligence and acquire knowledge and basic skills to foster growth and ongoing development.

  • Participants will take an honest look at their EQ strengths and development areas.
  • Participants will learn techniques for fostering greater self-awareness.
  • Participants will understand the relevance of EQ to business.
  • Participants will understand the basics of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management.
